Coach Erick’s Training experience has been life changing. When he did his first WOD “HELEN” in 2009, he was hooked. The variance of movement and demand—both physically and mentally— was something he believed was essential in becoming healthier and fit. CrossFit continues to have a tremendous impact on his life, from what he eats on the daily to how he perceives any challenging task put in front of him. Mentally, Crossfit has helped improve Erick’s ability to become more optimistic and believing any goal is attainable. For this reason, Erick trains to stay healthy and to keep improving on technique. He believes that as a Coach, he needs to be constantly learning in order to teach with proficiency and accuracy. It is Erick’s belief that with every person that walks into CrossFit Trig it is his responsibility to improve their lives both physically and mentally; by teaching and encouraging them that any of their goals are achievable. With hard work and dedication the possibilities are endless. I guess you can say from 2009 to 2012 Erick’s goals have evolved from changing himself to helping others improve their lives.
If you walk into the gym and MoTown is playing, best believe Coach Erick will be singing.

Devon has always been active through out her life. She played various sports and loves the outdoors. A friend first introduced Crossfit to Devon and from the moment she stepped into Crossfit Trig she was hooked. Crossfit has offered her more than just a great way to stay active and healthy, it has also provided her with great friendships and an amazing support system. Crossfit has helped Devon create better habits and has truly pushed her to be the best version of herself. Devon decided to start coaching because she wanted to share her passion of fitness and health with other individuals. Helping people achieve big and small goals is by far one of the best feelings she could ever have. This strong drive to help others plays in and outside of Crossfit for Devon, as she is a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department as well.
Devon loves eating pizza when she is out of the gym.
Jen is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis on Clinical Exercise Science. She began CrossFit in the early Fall of 2014. Her background in fitness and athletics include competitive tennis for several years, track and field, and 2 years of coaching experience. She’s always had an interest in fitness and makes it a big part of her everyday life. When she began CrossFit, she found that it was much different from anything she had ever done before. She loved the challenge and the variety of every single workout and found it was something she wanted to study as well as teach others and encourage others to try it as well. Upon graduation in the Spring of 2016, Jen plans to continue her education and pursue her masters in Physical Therapy. Her main goals are to eventually begin her practice in Physical Therapy while continuing to coach and learn more about CrossFit.
Yes she's a peanut butter addict but she's also our own personal JLo.
